Leaders’ Conference – May 2025 in Uganda

In May 2025, Pastor Wayne Nuper from Germany was invited by Pastor Simuka Van Edrine, the founder of Pastor’s Care and Network (PCAN), to lead a conference for pastors and church leaders in Uganda. This invitation stemmed from a connection made at a prior event in Kenya, where Pastor Simuka had been deeply impacted by Pastor Wayne’s teachings. Recognizing the profound value of the message, Pastor Simuka saw the opportunity to bring these essential insights to the leaders of Uganda.

The conference took place from May 23 to 27, 2025, in Zzana, a vibrant suburb of Kampala. A total of 220 leaders from 13 different churches gathered to partake in this significant time of spiritual growth and leadership development. Over the course of five days, including Sunday services, Pastor Wayne preached three times each day, followed by personal prayer sessions for the attendees.

The event was marked by an atmosphere of deep worship and cultural celebration. A standout moment was the participation of local children, who brought the essence of Ugandan culture to life through dynamic dance and song performances that captivated all who attended.

While Uganda is predominantly Christian, many of the pastors and leaders shared that they had never before encountered teaching on the core principles of spiritual leadership in such a comprehensive and practical format. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with leaders expressing profound appreciation for the clarity, depth, and relevance of the teachings. The Q&A sessions were filled with engaging and thoughtful questions, further confirming the significance of the training.

For Pastor Wayne, the experience was deeply fulfilling. He was able to impart wisdom, encourage spiritual growth, and provide clarity to the leaders in Uganda, an endeavor that brought him great personal joy. The time spent in Uganda proved to be a transformative and rewarding experience for all involved. It was evident that the conference was not only a success but a crucial step in strengthening and equipping the church leaders of Uganda for the challenges ahead.
